While I was in Grand Junction Colorado for a week while making my move to Portland from PA, I rode several times at some really good trails known as Tabeguache or more commonly the Lunch Loops. These are fantastic single track trails that offer a great desert riding appeal as you twist through tight SD badlands style hills of hard dirt and then into technical boulder rocky sections that offer jumps, delicate maneuvers, and good rock riding style. I was very impressed for a small little known riding area within bikable distance of town. A for sure afternoon crank if you are ever in this town along highway 70 through south western CO.

Check out a map and a bunch of information on the Grand Junction mountain biking web site.
| Two of our bikes were Freeze Thaw Cycles customs. We had to put them together and take a picture! Check out their web site here. |
